Yeh Dillagi.….A very entertaining rom-com, Yeh Dillagi had a hilarious storyline and an engaging screenplay. Working along with Akshay Kumar and Saif , Kajol delivered a mesmerizing performance whisvh bagged her a Filmfare nomination. The movie was a runaway hit at the box office and had some memorable songs.
DDLJ…..Best remembered for the sizzling chemistry between the golden couple of Bollywood Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan. DDLJ as popularly known as is regarded as the actress’ gateway to super stardom. It was a romantic-drama, and the film proved to be a huge commercial and critical success, and helped Kajol win a Filmfare award.
Gupt.…..Very captivating and compelling thriller. Released in the year 1999, Gupt featured Kajol in a negative role, giving her an opportunity to showcase her acting prowess to the fullest. The movie had some catchy songs and the film set the box office on fire.
Fanaa.….The film created a stir in the industry owing to its bold storyline which dealt with the sensitive topic of terrorism. Essaying the role of a bind woman who fell in love with a Kashmiri insurgent, Kajol shared a crackling rapport with ‘Mr Perfectionist’ Aamir Khan.
My Name is Khan…..Another brave movie, My Name is Khan touched upon the discrimination faced by US-based Muslims post the 9/11 terror attacks. The movie reunited the much loved SRK-Kajol pair, it managed to floor critics and audiences alike.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai….A pretty good example of engaging storytelling. The movie marked the directorial debut of Karan Johar. Tagged as a rom-com, the film, just like DDLJ, saw Kajol paired opposite King Khan. Both with critical and commercial success, it still enjoys numerous repetition on TV.
Dushman…..We saw Kajol in one of the most challenging role till date. Featuring the actress in a double role, it welcomed critics and audiences alike….. a bone-chilling climax in which Kajol took over some action scenes.
