CRB Tech Reviews came across the latest cricket news about Australia’s loss in the test series.
As per ICC Test Rankings, India is number 1 test ranking team.
Australia surrendered the No. 1 Test ranking to India after losing all three Tests on their tour to Sri Lanka.

If India fails to beat West Indies in Trinidad, Pakistan will become the No. 1 ranked Test side for the first time.
The performance of Sri Lanka led to them over-taking South Africa to move into sixth place with 95 points. They started the home series against Australia at No. 7 with 85 points.

Australia lost top position in the International Cricket Council’s Test rankings after the victory of Sri Lanka in the third Test by 163 runs for a 3-0 series win.
Sri Lanka declared their second innings on 347-8 early on day five in Colombo, setting a tadget of 324 for the Aussies to win.
But only David Warner (68) resisted as spinner Rangana Herath took 7-64.


A week ago, there were four teams with a chance of finishing August as the top-ranked Test side.
Pakistan might now hope their great rivals India do not win their fourth Test in
Trinidad, which begins on Thursday. India lead the series 2-0.
