Sayed said that he is happy that he was able to do justice to the effort that he has put for the last 6 months. He said that with a day job, he had to dedicate his entire time into this game. He also said that that he suffered with Typhoid 10 days prior to the tournament and was literally in tears as the doctor said him that he can’t participate. But he had to participate in order to do justice to his effort and as a gratitude towards people who supported and helped him.
Do you know who the trainer of Sayed is? Surprisingly he received training from none other than Rakesh Udiyar, the coach behind Aamir Khan’s Dangal transformation who has been making headlines recently. His journey from a civil engineer with an engineering and MBA degree to a professional body-builder is an inspiration for the people. He started body-building only a year back and went on to be awarded as Junior Maharashtra Shree and Mr. Ghatkopar.
This victory was not an easy one as Sayed was down with Typhoid right before the event. But he fought against all odds and participated in the contest and also won the silver medal. In fact, after this victory, he is presently the second best classic bodybuilder in Asia. He aims to find a place for himself in the fitness industry; Sayed thinks that if he can achieve this with only 3 hours of practice a day, if he devotes his entire time, he can do more.
Sayed also thanked his Mumbai Metro Project team, his immediate reporting manager at Reliance Infrastructure, and HR officer for their help in training and co-operation. He is also grateful to his best friend for being a continuous motivational mentor and his support. Sayed said that he entered the contest for an exposure and not to win and now he is impressed by the judges. There can’t be a much better or humble response than this.
We conclude now.
